How to Use

This calculator is meant to help players/GMs keep track of crafting checks in Paizo's Pathfinder RPG. The (somewhat complex) crafting rules are described here.

1. Select an item you want to craft from the item list, or enter the Item Cost and Item DC of the object you want to craft. Basic crafting DCs can be found in Table: Craft Skills.
2. Enter your crafting check (d20 + your relevant Craft (x) skill) in the Check Result box.
3. Hit the Recompute button. This will tell you how much progress you made toward creating the item, how much time was taken, and how much you spent on materials for this check.
4. If your item is not complete, you can make further checks by taking your overall progress number, and entering it into the Prior Work box. Then you can enter your next Check Result, and hit Recompute. You can find your overall progress number in the box labeled Overall Progress (i.e. 22% Complete 225/1000 -- 225 is the value to use as Prior Work).
